The device with its 3.7 inches touchscreen is a brilliant smartphone for gadget geeks who are looking for some mind-boggling multimedia experience in their phones. To make things feasible for all gamers and video addicts, the device comes fitted with the outstanding Nokia ClearBlack display. Announced by Nokia in the 2nd quarter of 2010, CBD technology has been applied to a few Nokia smartphones before this.

Different from the Super-AMOLED display, the ClearBlack screen has been specifically devised to block natural daylight to offer a crystal clear visibility, even under bright sunlight. With the help of its CB display, Lumia 800 creates a special reflection-resistant layer, formed between the touch and display layer, that is polarized. A distinct differentiator, this special display has been introduced considering the complaints made by the users regarding the fuzzy visibility of the ordinary displays. A Nokia Lumia 800 review states that the CBD has worked to improve the picture resolution of the display, making it more prominent.

Thus, with Lumia 800, you can now watch the colors play before your eyes inside the screen. Even video viewing in broad daylight is so much fun. You can watch images with 100% clarity under all lighting conditions. Even gaming will be so much life-like in the CBD of Lumia 800. With every hue and shade standing out, it seems that the characters have come out of the gaming world. Gamers can stay deeply immersed in the screen for hours without taking a note of the passing time. HTC Radar review is also promoting the rival Radar, but sadly without the remarkable CB display.

Windows Phone 7 has done a decent business and has successfully satiated the tech freaks. Here is the Mango, Windows 7.5, which is making the tech-savvy generation to go gaga over it. Microsoft, the top-notch software brand, cannot afford to give the world of smartphone software market, a miss. The new smartphone from the house of the Taiwanese mobile company is the HTC Radar, which is running on Windows 7.5. If you are yet to lay your hands on a HTC Radar review, then you should do so to upbreast yourself with the features and applications that the Radar has to offer.

The new Windows 7.5 is exciting and fun to use and the mobile freaks are raving about the Radar, owing to its power-packed performance. Giving the Radar a tough competition is the Nokia Lumia 800 which is also empowered by Windows Phone 7.5. Both the Radar and the Lumia 800 feed on Mango which is making the mobile lovers to possess one of the handsets suiting their budget and preference. A Nokia Lumia 800 review spelt out how the 8 MP camera, capped with dual LED Flash, Carl Zeiss optics offers mind-boggling snaps. The Radar performs a decent job in clicking good snaps armed with a 5 MP. The Lumia takes a back seat in terms of the absence of the secondary camera, and here the Radar scores with its VGA camera enabling the users to enjoy the fun of video-calling. A HTC Radar review also pronounces how S-LCD capacitive touchscreen measuring 3.8 inches is one of the highlighting points of the display of the Radar.

In terms of memory of a smartphone, a Nokia Lumia 800 review reveals that there is 16 GB in-built memory with 512 RAM, while HTC Radar integrates 8 GB internal memory with 512 RAM. Both the phones lack a microSD card slot which deprives the users to expand the memory of the smartphones.

The Windows Microsoft 7.5, called the Mango, is the latest buzz among the tech freak in love with hi-end gadgets. The new operating system that the new HTC smartphone is running on, along with 1 GHz powered package has successfully tickled the fancy of the mobile enthusiasts. The users are more than willing to try out a handset powered by new operating system, called the Mango. HTC is the mobile manufacturer that needs no introduction as it is known to belt out with power-packed smartphones, loaded with exciting features to appease the users. A well-penned HTC Radar review unveils the latest smartphone armed with S-LCD capacitive touchscreen. The display becomes more breathtaking with visual brilliance offered even during daylight owing to the Gorilla Glass display.

If it is the multimedia features of a smartphone that overwhelms you, then a HTC Radar review pronounces that the Radar does a decent job with the 5 MP camera. The scoring point is the presence of the secondary camera paving the way for video calling, which is well-integrated in the Radar. HSDPA and Wi-Fi are the two chief components that are in charge of making the connectivity options of the phone to work out well. The Radar is definitely not the dream of a user, deprived of its upgradable feature, but comes with a fairly palatable price tag. The internal memory is slotted at 8GB, with no scope offered to the users to opt for memory expansion.

In the face of stiff competition, Nokia, one of the reigning names in the business domain, is counted among the top echelon of mobile manufactures, has rolled out Lumia 800. There is a mad rush to browse through a Lumia 800 review so that the users can gauge the utility of the latest model dished out. A Nokia Lumia 800 review spelling out the pros and cons of a smartphone will help the mobile lovers to have a comprehensive understanding of the Lumia.

Probably, the mention of new OS. Nokia vs. HTC and Microsoft! Interesting face-off, don’t you think? Microsoft has been integrating their unique OS programming skills with HTC phones for a considerable time now, but somehow, something got amiss and Windows Phone Platform 7, did not perform so well. Unfortunately, around the same time upgraded version of Google’s Android came out too and it gelled better with the crowd. Result: Microsoft comes out with the next version of WP (and a little of sweet revenge!) named WP 7.5 Mango. HTC took the sly opportunity to launch their next set which is named HTC Radar and is powered by (no surprise here) WP 7.5 Mango.

When a new greater platform is being launched and that too in the arena of mobile phones, how can the champion gladiator resist the temptation to drop in! Nokia, the mobile phone giant, also came up with their latest offering around the same time. The set’s called Nokia Lumia 800.

Let’s give you a dash of HTC Radar review and Nokia Lumia 800 review and hope you’d be able to untangle the locked horns and the dilemma to buy one.

Let’s get to the HTC Radar review first. The screen is a generous 3.8 inch S-LCD, Gorilla glass screen with the ability to support Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, SRS Sound, Geo-tagging, predictive text input, A-GPS, multi-touch input, etc. The body is an elegance made by aluminum. In addition to these, HTC was quoted saying that they had put in extra hours, to see to it that investors could talk a few extra hours and thus offers a stupendous 8 ½ hours of 3G talk time.

Now, on with the Nokia Lumia 800 Review. Though the screen size of the phone is a decent 3.7 inch (of AMOLED), Nokia has surely gone almost all out with this offering. But judging a company like Nokia by the screen size of their phone is nothing short of stupidity. The new ‘People’s Hub’ is a new application introduced to integrate with multiple social sites and email accounts and make them accessible through a single route. Nokia’s best ever A-GPS system powers the navigation part and leaves no footprints for the aunt of Hansel to follow. It also incorporates voice navigated controls.

Both the mobile phones have done exceptionally good and are worth the bucks.

The name of the device is Lumia 800 and it bears a huge burden of expectations. Most of the experts that have conducted Nokia Lumia 800 review have mentioned the partnership of the Finnish company with Microsoft. The expectations are quite high because of some vital Nokia apps and sophisticated design.

The device is going to provide a big-thing experience to the users while handling because it possesses a 3.7 inches display screen. The measurement of the device is 116.5×61.2×12.1mm. Watching videos or any other content on this big screen is itself a great experience, but the fun gets doubled if the screen is an AMOLED capacitive touch screen. Great quality of display is supported by other exciting features such as Nokia ClearBlack and Gorilla Glass display, multi touch input method and a lot more.

It is touted that the Nokia phone will bring direct competition with HTC Radar, which also runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. HTC Radar review featured in various sites mentioned about the OS of the handset specifically. HTC that was steadily going with Android operating system for years has opted for Windows’ latest OS. Nokia is probably annoyed with this development as they have adopted the Windows Phone OS several months back. Radar is a solid small device that has been crafted from a metal of a single piece, which looks great. Its weight is 137 grams, which means the user can do business without working out his or her muscles a lot. In comparison to that, the weight of Lumia is 142 grams, which is a bit heavier.

In comparison to the one-piece metal look of radar, the alluminium fascia of Lumia 800 looks quite dull. In fact, that little bit of dip in the bottom portion reminds HTC manufactured Google Nexus One. We have to wait and see how Lumia 800 fares in the market.

Recently, we have got to view a latest device from the house of HTC and it was touted to be named as Pico. However, the company seems to have changed its mind as the new name of the device is expected to be HTC Explorer. This one sounds cool in comparison to “Pico” and hope that the features of the smart phone will also be quite interesting. Check out some more details of the forth coming Android device from the house of HTC phones.

According to the latest reports, Pico will be called HTC Explorer when it will be made available to the users. It was already known to many people (thanks to the previous leaks) that Explorer is going to be a smart phone that will satisfy the mid-range users. The manufacturer already has Wildfire S ruling this market segment and we have to witness how the new device performs in the market.

In fact, the specifications of the smart phone is quite similar to that of Wildfire S such as a 600MHz processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 platform, 5 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch HVGA display, etc. It seems that the Explorer will take over the market share of Wildfire S or it could be a strategy of HTC to introduce a new device in the market segment before pulling off the old model.

One of the biggest advantages of Explorer is the inclusion of the newest HTC Sense UI 3.5 apart from the power of the Gingerbread operating system. The formal announcement of the phone is expected to take place sometimes soon, which is probably reveal the expected date of release.

Here is a sneak peak at some of the major highlights of HTC Explorer. It will be loaded with a TFT capacitive touch screen of 3.2 inches along with the latest HTC Sense, touch sensitive controls, accelerometer sensor, and proximity sensor. The storage capacity of the phone 512MB of internal memory and up to 32GB external memory support with microSD card slot. Probably the phone will make its appearance in black and blue and we have to wait for any further details, till the official announcement is made. The mobile phone deals are expected to be good as well.

Nokia finally unveiled the much anticipated Symbian Belle within 3 brand new models namely Nokia 600, 700 and 701. Belle will be succeeding Anna that has received mixed reactions ever since Nokia unveiled its latest update. The Belle at first glance looks far more polished than Anna, with several distinct improvements made to the home-screen. Rather than the traditional 3 panel home screen layout, the Belle will allow users to play with 6 different home screens, while widgets within live panels can now be resized adding to the fun. Screenshots clearly showcase the menu system being flat, while Nokia have done away with the annoying folder layout as all shortcuts are now available within the vertically scrollable display. According to sources, upcoming Nokia phones such as the N9, T7, and the N950 are all in the pipeline to acquire the innovative Belle.

For long, Nokia had been planning to make changes to the Symbian to suit enhanced multitasking. The Belle brings in just that as users simply need to flick the live images to switch between apps rather than having to use the task switcher. Another massive change incorporated into the Belle has been the Android style pull down notification menu. The pull down menu can be accessed from any home screen and will offer users to toggle with the Silent mode, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Nokia for long have been stressing about pushing forward the NFC technology into mainstream Nokia phones. With Belle making NFC paring even simpler, Belle users will find it incredibly useful to pair NFC enabled devices to the Belle without too much trouble. Nokia have also managed to update the lock screen of the new OS as users will now be able to insert color wallpapers and event notifications into their lock screens. Business applications such as the Microsoft Communicator, PowerPoint Broadcaster, Exchange ActiveSync, OneNote and SharePoint all come embedded into the Belle.

While Nokia have only announced 3 Smartphone’s to carry the new Belle as of now, but mobile phone deals on popular Nokia handsets such the E7 and N8 could be unveiled quite soon.

Those who are waiting with baited breath to get hold of the much awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, they have to wait for few more days. This superb looking droid was expected to release by the mid of September, but now it seems that the makers of the device have opted for the date of September 26.

According to several online retailers, this handset will be available from the end of the month and from that time people can expect to find it in the market. Earlier, the news was leaked that this Xperia will release on 9th of September. It has clearly missed the target and the reason is being cited as the delay of shipments in the UK.

Because of this delay, Xperia Active will now have to deal with a strong competitor, the Motorola Defy+, which is also expected to hit the market during the same period. The new Defy will be the main competitor for the time being because there is still some time left for the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Xcover (probably arriving in October). In spite of such competition, the experts believe that the prospect of Xperia Active will not get much affected. There is a goodwill about the Xperia range of Sony Ericsson phones and the specifications of the device also seems to be attractive. So, launching on September 26 won’t be that bad.

Let’s take a look at some of the vital specifications of the device. The device comes with 3.0 inches LED backlit LCD capacitive touch screen with Bravia mobile engine, scratch resistant display and touch sensitive controls. The 5 mega pixel camera includes LED flash and auto focus, whereas the video recorder can shoot at 720p and includes video light.

Xperia Active is loaded with Android v2.3 Gingerbread and it is powered by Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor. Connectivity is fast with HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.8 Mbps and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA. The storage capacity of the phone is 1 GB (internal). The memory can be expanded up to 32 GB by using microSD card.

The mobile phones deals of this handset will be exciting.

Back in 2010, when Motorola launched the world’s first toughened all weather Android phone, it created huge uproar among Smartphone users. Although the Defy managed fairly respectable numbers here in UK, but Motorola did expect much more from their all weather proof device. However, the Defy has just got a second life that could possibly help Motorola realize the dream that they always aspired for. Announced just last month, the Motorola Defy+ is finally up on preorder here in UK currently retailing at a preliminary price of £246. Even though brand new Motorola phones have failed to create market stir in the past, but initial reports do confirm the Defy+ to be selling really well.

According to Motorola, the new Defy+ is slightly toughened as it has managed to acquire the highly acclaimed IP67 certification. This means the device will comfortably survive intense dust, while even an extreme 1m plunge under water for 30 minutes will do no harm. Besides, Motorola have also taken measures to update the handsets battery to the standard 1700mAh, while the more illustrious 1 GHz processor will now come as standard.

Currently, clove has listed the Defy+ for preorder at €281 including VAT. However, stocks haven’t yet arrived fully, except for a few pieces that have already been sold out. Clove expects to acquire stocks within the month’s end. UK retailer Expansys is also busy taking preorders, but it hasn’t placed the sticker price just yet. On the other hand, mobile phone deals on the regular Defy only costs about €271 including VAT, that’s a good €10 lesser than the Defy+.

Another notable improvement on the new Defy+ is the popular Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. With the handset sporting 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of internal ROM alongside its 1 GHz TI OMAP 3620 processor, the handset is sure to breeze through even the most graphic eccentric games and apps available on the Android market. Following user request for Bluetooth EDR, Motorola have managed to incorporate a much faster EDR system onboard that will unquestionably see Bluetooth data transfer rates on the device shoot up.
