Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is Arriving in July

It is now confirmed that the much awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will finally make its appearance in the European market in the month of July. There are several other Sony Ericsson phones that were launched along with Neo, are already available in the market. In fact, many people were thinking that what happened to Neo as it was announced in the month of February at the Mobile World Congress 2011. The other two phones that were revealed along with Neo – Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY are already available in the European market. With the latest revelation it was clear that Neo has not lost its way and it will arrive in July.

The delay was probably because of some problems in the chain of production and supply. However, it seems that the problems are sorted out as the Twitter accounts of Sony Ericsson Netherland and Italy revealed that the devices will be available in the Europe from early July.

Neo looks quite a promising device with the power of 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Adreno 205 GPU and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The display of the phone is one of its prominent features as it boasts 3.7 inches LED backlit LCD capacitive touch screen with 16 million colour visibility. The inclusion of Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine will also keep the users exciting along with the availability of proximity sensor, accelerometer sensor, scratch resistant surface, multi touch input method and Timescape UI.

The storage capacity of the phone is also quite exciting as it boasts a 32GB microSD card slot. 8 GB memory will be included in the package. The multimedia options are also quite decent. The handset loads an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash and auto focus along with face and smile detection, geo tagging, touch focus and video calling. High quality video recording is possible at 720p @30 fps along with video light and continuous auto focus. The phone is loaded with several other entertainment options and exciting features.
