HTC Pyramid Coming to UK as HTC Sensation

Everyone is talking about HTC’s big mobile phone event in London on the 12th  of April, we are all expecting some amazing new HTC mobile phones to be released. One of these is what was thought to be the HTC Pyramid now renamed the HTC Sensation for it’s UK release. This news is pretty big as the HTC Pyramid now Sensation has been talked about a lot over the last few weeks with lots of speculation regarding it’s specification. The HTC Sensation is expected to be a very sought after smartphone with some amazing features to compete against smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S 2 due to be released at the end of this month.

We have had a copy of an unofficial specification for the HTC Sensation so we are going to give an  insight as to what you can expect from this new high-end smartphone. The 4.3 inch S-LCD capacitive touch screen display will dominate the front of the Sensation with expected features like rotating icons proximity sensor, accelerometer sensor, multi-touch input and HTC Sense v3.0 UI. At a guess we think the name Sensation came from the new HTC Sense v3.0 UI. We have been told the HTC Sensation will pack an 8 mega-pixel camera, qHD video recorder 1080p plus an additional 1.3 mega-pixel camera for video calls. Rumour has it HTC are planning to use the Android v3.0 Honeycomb operating system that has been put in to many of the new tablets but we find this information unlikely so we expect the Sensation will have Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS. Our information also tells us we can expect a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor which will work brilliantly along side the Gingerbread OS. There will be plenty of internet data coverage with 3G HSDPA/HSUPA. WiFi and WiFi hotspot along with Bluetooth and microUSB data transfers.

We have no information on a release date or price for the HTC Sensation so we will wait until Tuesday to find out exactly what this new mobile phone is about. We will also be looking forward to viewing the HTC EVO 3D which is expected to be a big phone in 2011.
