HTC Desire S – April release Date With O2

New HTC smartphone the HTC Desire S has been spotted on O2 coming soon website page which is fantastic news for all of the Desire fans that are dying to get there hands on this new and improved Desire S. HTC announced at MWC that that will be releasing upgraded versions of a few of there most popular 2010 smartphones and one of these is the HTC Desire S previously the HTC Desire which certainly put HTC on the map in 2010 with it’s huge popularity making HTC one of the top mobile phone manufacturers in the world.

The Desire S is packed with fantastic features and with HTC upgrading this smartphone just proves it’s popularity. The features that stand out for us include the 3.7 inch SLCD capacitive touch screen display with 16 million colours and 480 x 800 pixel resolutions. This provides the HTC Desire S with clear crisp viewing and makes internet browsing, photos and video watching a really enjoyable experience. You can also enjoy display features like touch sensitive controls, HTC sense v3.0 UI, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and multi touch input. If you enjoy taking photos then you will be pleased with the 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, autofocus, touch focus, geo tagging and image stabilization ensuring your photos are fantastic quality. You will also have an HD video recorder and additional VGA camera for video calls.

One of the main upgrades is the the 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor and the Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system giving the Desire S a more enjoyable mobile phone experience. HTC have also given this new mobile phone an aluminium casing providing the Desire S with a solid feel and an improved battery which was one of the main issues with the original HTC Desire.
