HTC Evo 3D Review – Coming to the UK Soon
HTC are to follow in the footsteps of LG with the HTC Evo 3D. The Evo 3D will be up against the LG Optimus 3D with a glasses free 3D experience. HTC have not yet confirmed the release date for the UK but it is to be released in the US in the summer of 2011. The HTC Evo 3D was initially showcased at CTIA Wireless 2011 in Orange County, Orlando and proved to be a huge hit with everyone. With this huge interest in the US it did not surprise us that it would be released in Europe in the near feature.
If you are as excited as we are about the Evo 3D then you will be dying to hear about the features. The main aspect of the HTC Evo 3D is the impressive 4.3 inch 3D S-LCD capacitive touchscreen display that will provide 16 million colours and 540 x 960 pixel resolutions. The 3D camera and video aspect like the LG Optimus 3D will be viewed through two stereoscopic 5 mega-pixel cameras to provide the 3D effect with an additional 1.3 mega-pixel camera for video calls. Other great camera features will include autofocus, dual LED flash and geo tagging. Your videos will look superb whether you choose to film in 3D 720p@30fps or 2D 1080p@24fps. The operating system used in the Evo 3D will be Androids v2.3 Gingerbread supported by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. There will be plenty of coverage via 2G GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G HSDPA 900/1700/2100 networks. For your internet connectivity the HTC Evo 3D will be WiFi enabled and will cover 3G HSDPA/HSUPA, for data transfers you can use USB or Bluetooth with the help of EDGE and GPRS technology to provide fast internet access and data transfers. Other impressive features will include Facebook, Twitter and Fickr applications as well as GPS navigation with AGPS support, Google Maps and digital compass. There will be a HDMI port and DLNA for viewing the mobiles content on a TV. No 3D mobile phone will be worth buying without some added 3D features so HTC are providing the Evo 3D with YouTube 3D client and a 3D Blockbuster application.
