3  Mobile have the LG Optimus 3D smartphone on there coming soon page for June release. This is fantastic news for this innovative mobile phone. We cannot deny that we are very excited about Optimus 3D’s upcoming release being the first 3D capable mobile phone. Not only does the LG Optimus 3D have the 3D function viewable via the naked eye and not those rather unattractive glasses but it is packed with a very high specification.

The 3D capabilities for the LG Optimus 3D really are impressive and are viewable via the 4.3 inch stereoscopic LCD touch screen display. The attention to detail is fantastic as it supports 16 million colours and has 480 x 800 pixel resolutions making it appear very bright and crisp, even in 2D. The user will also enjoy benefits from the LG 3D UI (user interface), gyro sensor, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and touch sensitive controls. On your Optimus 3D you will be able to make 3D videos, take 3D photos, play 3D games and access the YouTube 3D app, there is also a 3D navigation button so you can access all of the 3D aspects quickly and efficiently.

The dual 5 mega-pixel cameras make the stereoscopic photos and videos possible with brilliant features like digital zoom, LED flash, auto focus and geo tagging. You can record videos in 3D 720p@30fps and 2D 1080p@24fps and with a HDMI port you can plug your Optimus 3D in to you 3D TV and view your videos on the big screen. YouTube now have a section dedicated to 3D videos and with the LG Optimus 3D you will get that app already in the phone.

LG have powered the Optimus 3D with Android v2.2 operating system but you will be pleased to know this can be upgraded to v2.3 Gingerbread OS  along with a dual-core 1GHz processor. The user will also be able to enjoy 3G HSDPA networks and WiFi connectivity. Through the microUSB cable you can transfer data to a compatible device or you Bluetooth for a wireless transfer. Other brilliant features to enjoy are Google search, Google maps and Google Talk, social network integration and up to 32 gigabytes of memory via a microSD card.
