HTC Desire S & HTC Incredible S Available for Sim Free Pre-Order


At Mobile World Congress HTC announced a few upgraded versions of some of it’s most popular handsets of 2010, two of these were the Desire S and the Incredible S. The changes from the original phones may not appear that drastic but it will make a huge difference in how both of these mobile phones work. The Desire S will have HD video recorder, improved processor from a 1 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset to a 1 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon. You will also be able to enjoy an Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system and longer battery life with the 2G talk time going from just 6 hours 40 minutes to now being 9 hours 50 minutes. HTC have given the Incredible S Google Android v2.2, a HD video recorder and a new front facing camera for making video calls.

HTC have given Expansys UK Amazon UK the go ahead to start taking SIM free pre-orders for the Desire S and the Incredible S. The HTC Desire S is Due to be released in the UK on the 18th of April but unfortunately we have not yet been informed as to when the HTC Incredible S will be released. Amazon UK have the HTC Desire S priced at £419.99 while Expansys UK are asking there customers for £429.99. There has been a lot of interest from Vodafone, 3 and Orange in regards to the HTC Desire S when is is released in April, this will provide customers with some great Desire S deals as the mobile phone networks battle it out.
