Vodafone Bags LG Optimus 2X Deals


LG Optimus 2XSince the announcement of LG Optimus 2X, the UK market is waiting with baited breadth for the smart phone. It seems that the interested buyers need to wait for some more time to get hands on this handset. However, if the rumour is to be believed, the mobile Optimus 2X deals are bagged by Vodafone. The network provider is probably planning to shoot up deals on 18 and 24 months contract.

LG has stated that Optimus 2X will load the power of Froyo, which is the version 2.2 of Android operating system. The company has also mentioned that once the device is available for sale, they will be working towards upgrading the operating system to v2.3, which is called Gingerbread.

If you wait for some time, you may come across a better deal. This handset is worth to wait for because it brings the 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2, which is a dual core processor along with WVGA 4 inches touch screen and internal memory of 8GB. The memory can be expanded up to 32 GB by using a microSD card slot.

It loads a super cool camera of 8 mega pixels and 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution. The other features of the camera include LED flash, geo tagging and auto focus. The camera is also capable of recording videos at 1080p @24fps, 720 @30fps. There is a secondary 1.3 mega pixel camera for video calling.

There are several other prominent attractions of LG Optimus 2X such as A GPS support, social networking integration, digital compass, Google services, etc.

It is not yet clear that Vodafone is going to be the only retailer to bring deals on the device. The buyers may wait for some more days to know if there is any latest announcement. According to T3, “Contracts with Vodafone start at £30.65 a month, which gives you the handset free, unlimited texts, 300 minutes and 500MB of internet. Free gift with mobile phone deals include a universal PDA/phone car mounting kit and a microUSB car charger.”
