Torn down HTC Surround reveals Its Similarity with Nexus One
The guys at mobile phone repair site iFixit have done it again and this time the device is HTC Surround. They might be thinking that dissembling the Surround will be a different kind of experience and revelation, but what they found was similar experience of what they previously did with the Nexus One.
HTC Google Nexus One is a device that has been manufactured by HTC for Google. It is surprising to know that the Surround’s five major chip packages on the motherboard are strikingly similar to that of the Nexus One. It may be disappointing for many people to know that HTC Surround has used the year-old hardware, but it is a solid phone without any doubt.
The device is one of the prominent handsets that run on the Windows Phone 7 operating system. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor is quite powerful to enable the users enjoy high speed access to the mobile functionalities.
