Nokia N9 Readies for Release with Intel Atom CPU
The Finnish company is planning to pull the curtain off Nokia N9 in the Mobile World Congress, which is going to take place next month in Barcelona. Rumour mills are mongering that this is going to be the first handset to implement the power of Intel Atom CPU instead of the tradition ARM that the company has been using so far.
It is being speculated that N9 is going to be the fasted Smartphone of Nokia because it combines the Intel Atom 1.2GHz CPU and the punch of MeeGo operating system. We have to wait till the handset gets released to find out if it has the capability to become the fastest amongst the present generation of the smart phones. It is for sure that there will be stream of mobile phone deals once the phone releases as all leading network operators are eyeing on it.
There is no official specification of the mobile phone available as of now, but there are few speculations in the market. However, there is no such idea about the hardware details. Though the official announcement will be made in next month, but the hardware will probably not appear until next three-four months because MeeGo will take some time to get ready, probably not before May.
From the leaked images it is clear that N9 is going to feature the combination of QWERTY keyboard and touch screen display. The display screen is expected to be 4.0 inches and the type is TFT capacitive. Apart from including the accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and multi touch input, the display will also load scratch-resistant oleophobic surface and ClearBlack display. Other high-end features of the phone are 5 mega pixel camera, 32GB memory support, TV-out, digital compass, 720p video recorder, A-GPS, and Ovi Maps.
