3D Enabled LG Optimus Pad to be introduced at Mobile World Congress

LG is probably brining the UK version of Optimus Pad at the Mobile World Congress this year. It is touted that the device has the capability of 3D recording and it features a 3D screen. A spokesperson from the house of LG has confirmed the news that this tablet is capable of recording in 3D with its two webcams.

It is clear that the device is aiming to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad. According to the reports, there is no need to wear the 3D glasses to view the third dimensional effect on the display screen, which is sized at 8.9 inches. The device includes auto-stereoscopic system, which gives it power to display simultaneous image to each eye effectively.

In terms of hardware, the LG Optimus Pad is coming loaded with the Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core CPU along with the ports of HDMI and USB. The best part is probably the availability of Android 3.0, which implies that the users can enjoy all the applications and features of Google on the handset. There is no such revelation about the on board memory of the tablet, which means there is a possibility of different versions like we already have with the iPad.

It has all the capabilities to take the market of Android tablet by storm and what is going to work in its favour is the low price tag. It is speculated that Optimus Pad will cost some £250 in the UK. More details about the device will be available once it is revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

As of now there was a speculation when LG Optimus Pad will arrive, but many authentic sources like techradar.com have confirmed the news.
