Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 Now Gets the Android 2.1 Eclair Update
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 now joins the league of XPERIA X10 as it is also getting update on its operating system. The device will now feed Éclair, which is Android 2.1 operating system. The users can also expect some improvement in the features as well. In fact, the update will bring an almost similar software package as the XPERIA X10 mini and X10. Sony Ericsson is doing these updates gradually and to know about the update, the users need to check the SI-number, which is found on the phone’s back.
Previously rumoured as Sony Ericsson Shakira, XPERIA X8 is quite an interesting device. It is supportive of both quadband GSM (850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900) and dual band HSDPA (900/ 2100).
