The new Samsung i9000 Galaxy S deals are out and the mobile phone is now available SIM free. However, this deal is only for the 16 GB model, not the 8 GB one. The device features the first version of Android operating system Eclair and it is expected that it will soon get an update to the latest version Froyo. That will provide the users with better features and performance.
Samsung i9000 Galaxy S includes a 5 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Some of the key features of the camera include face and smile detection, touch focus, and geo tagging. The camera can also record videos as 720p @ 30 fps. Other entertainment options include music player and video playback with TV Out and social network integration.

The display of the phone is probably its biggest highlight. It comes with a 4.0 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16 million colours visibility and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Some major highlights of the display includes multi touch input method, Gorilla Glass display, touch sensitive controls, proximity sensor, multi touch input method, and Swype text input.
