Vodafone usage now cheaper on International soil
Vodafone is reducing their usage rates, in a move that has been greeted with a lot of enthusiastic support by the Vodafone users in a highly competitive mobile network market.
The booming giants claimed that their new tariff is much simpler and a lot cheaper. Users can now access the internet even while on international ground for as low as £2 per day.
The £2 price package provides the user 25 MB worth of internet bit transfer. £10 would be charged for every 25 MB above this barrier that, as a newspaper put it, is equivalent to checking Facebook 500 odd times!
This package is suited best for occasional travelers who shy away from the idea of being without internet access for too long. Customers who travel frequently could however take a slightly different offer that could suit them better.
Vodafone also confirmed that users who had signed up for a contract of more than £40 a month, would be allowed to access this special allowance for free.
The new plan would be available by the whole of the European Union, including the UK.
Vodafone expects the smart phone industry to grow by around 72 per cent by the time we get to 2013 and they believe that this new low cost usage scheme would help create an edge for them in a fast paced market.
