HTC Desire HD, Mozart to launch this month

HTC Desire HDHTC hit the market with their best shot, even as they went all out in announcing the launch of two of their devices in the UK – the HTC Mozart and the much awaited HTC Desire HD.

A lot of mobile manufacturing units have been squabbling lately and this is in some sense HTC’s response to all the fighting.

HTC Desire HD is all set to receive pre order from the 14th of this month, as Vodafone plans to carry it on its back. At the cost of £35 per month, Vodafone will have the new device available for free along with a loaded package of 900 minutes, an unlimited amount of messages and 750 MB worth of data transfer. However this is just for the online users. Offline users would receive just 600 minutes and 500 MB of data transfer at £35 per month.

The HTD Desire model was unveiled last month in London. The 4.3 inch screen mobile will boast of a 1 GHz processor and an 8 mega pixel camera along with 720p of HD video recording ability and will be using the Android 2.2 software.

HTC-MozartThe HTC Mozart is a slightly different ball game and will be using the ‘Windows Phone 7’ software. The information about its release was leaked by Orange and Phones4U. Orange even published a bit of the help guide online, however that was taken down as soon as discovered.

This slightly smaller 3.7 inch screen device would have a lot of features similar to the Desire model, with an 8 mega pixel camera and 720p of HD recording.

The HTC Mozart is also said to be a recognisable competitor to other smart phone like the HTC Desire, the Apple iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S device.

No date has however been stated for the HTC Mozart launch.
