New Software Update in HTC Desire
The house of HTC has released a software update for its Android based smartphone Desire.
Softpedia, the tech news website has revealed that updating the software has included many new developments in the mobile phone, taking into account the minor changes that are brought about. Some of the potential add-ons are an improved Russian layout of the keyboard, a patch for the existing operating system of Android and a larger backing for the Gmail multi-inbox. The company claims the new changes to be extremely exciting and will be very helpful to the users.
HTC has asserted boastfully on its support website that post installation of the software, only the Software number has to be confirmed to successfully update the same. This can be accessed from the Menu option in the home page. Under that, there is a Settings option, below which is the About Phone button. Under the software number, placed inside the software information, you will find the number. However, as announced by HTC, the software number is 2.10.405.2.
The mobile phone manufacturer from the nation of Taiwan has suggestively alerted the users to keep a backup of their files stored in the phone, in order to avoid the possibility of losing data while the phone is updated. While running the update, the storage device runs through the risk of losing data. So, it is safe to make back ups of the data before the phone is put to update.
Carphone Warehouse, the giant UK based retailer of HTC is planning to introduce the white version of Desire. This version is much awaited in the market, as you can well understand by imagining the looks of the piece of beauty in white.
Furthermore, the new HTC Desire HD will expectedly be released in a press event scheduled sometime in the next week.
