After the trial at the Beijing Olympics London is preparing to broadcast the 2012 Olympics via mobile phones so people can watch them “on the go”. As well as having coverage via the radio and normal TV broadcasts, the BBC plan to show the games on mobile phones, so that no part of the event goes is missed.
Roger Mosey, Director for London 2012 for the BBC has been assured by experts that the coverage for all types of media are available and possible, and a budget has been made for providing this media extravaganza to the world.
However, only one in fifty people used their mobile phone to view coverage of the Beijing Olympics, and many of these people didn’t like it. So, if available, will you be watching the London 2012 Olympics on your mobile phone?
