HTC HD 7 to be unveiled on 15 Sept
HTC’s new hand set, the HTC HD 7 will be launched on 15 September in London.
The new HTC model will be launched at a HTC event in London next week, after much waiting by a lot of HTC fans.
The device was originally named the HTC HD 4, but was changed to HTC HD 7 recently (this week). Reason cited for this change in name was that the phone had a Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System and hence HTC HD 7 was a better suited name.
The phone also carries along with itself a certain level of anticipation and ‘mystery’ due to the move of the manufacturers to leave most of the phones features in the unknown. This has created a certain heightened level of eagerness among the audience who now can not wait to know about the intricacies of the device and its functioning.
Rumours, speculations and guesses from many experts have carved an impressive picture of the HTC HD 7. The model is said to have a 4.5 inch touch screen with a resolution of 1200 X 800 pixels. A 1.5 GHz processor and a 1 GB RAM have been predicted.
The device is also believed to have a HDMI port, a High Definition video recording capacity with an in built capacity of around 32 GB and a 8 mega pixel camera with a dual LED flash. 32 GB worth of space can also be stored with a micro SD card.
In addition to that, the must esteemed device is also the first HTC device to use the new Microsoft operating system.
HTC were earlier supposed to announce the successor to their HTC Desire HD handset, but that has dropped underground with the announced launch of the HD 7 phone, that has rippled with an excited and anxious audience.
