The Windows Phone 7 is to Release in October 2010
The mobile enthusiasts, the world over are excited with the up coming release of the Windows Phone 7 operating system. Microsoft announced about the new operating system software on 15th February, at the 2010, Mobile World Congress. The event was staged at Barcelona, Spain. Microsoft is well known for the computer operating system software. Most of the computers of the Earth run on the Microsoft developed Windows operating systems. The entry of Microsoft in the domain of mobile phone operating system software rings a bell of caution to all the existing major players in the field; such as Symbian, Android and iOS. Officially, Microsoft or other mobile phone manufacturers have not announced the mobile phone models that are going to run on the Windows Phone 7 OS. The leaked photos and articles indicate that the LG GW910 Panther, HTC Mozart and HTC Mondrian will be the first to introduce the latest Microsoft operating system.
Microsoft is very much concerned about the success of the new operating system and plans to deliver an exciting and predictable experience to the users. They have already put a strict condition of not modifying the OS, to their mobile phone manufacturing partners. The hardware on which the OS is going to run is also controlled by Microsoft Corporation. The software is supposed to be available in two variants. The Media Edition will be meant for the normal people. It will have a high focus on high definition video, streaming, applications for social networking sites and other entertaining applications. The Business Edition of the Windows Phone 7 operating system will focus on the mobile connectivity and access of office servers and intranet. This version will target the corporate customers. The latest Microsoft operating system loaded mobile phones are expected to give a tough challenge to the Apple iPhone 4.
