Video Streaming affected on HTC Desire Due to Vodafone Apps Update

The unwanted Vodafone application update on the HTC Desire has fumed many users, and the matter is now getting a national coverage. Vodafone is receiving a lot of flak for this, but it is still asking the customer to show some patients even for streaming videos, which is affected due to the unwanted update.

A section of the customers is affected with the Desire update and the news has spread wide at the moment. However, the matter of video streaming is not addressed on a massive level as of now as a solution is expected from Web 2.0. However, the users that cannot stream videos on their HTC Desire have no clue when this hazard will get over.

What happened last week to the HTC Desire users on Vodafone network was bizarre. The users were anticipating an update on Android (Froyo- Android 2.2), but they received bookmarks package and some unwanted application by Vodafone. The worst thing is that these apps cannot be removed and many normal services of the phone are getting hampered. The users are angry and many of them outburst their anger through the leading social networks. The news has spread like a wildfire, and many people took attention of it.

The competitors of Vodafone will definitely try to take the maximum advantage of the situation. However, it is unlikely that a few hundred tweets and blogs on other social networks can provide much of a damage to the repute of Vodafone. The company has a base of more than twenty million subscribers and this low-time will expectedly over soon. However, the pressure is on Vodafone to take up remedial action as fast as possible to win back the confidence of its long satisfied customers.
