The Exciting New Windows Phone 7 Operating System

The Windows Phone 7 operating system is eagerly awaited by the mobile enthusiasts of the world. Microsoft is the world leader in computer operating system software. The mobile phone OS from Microsoft is surely to incorporate the patented expertise of the software giant. The mobile phones running on the Windows Phone 7 operating system are not supposed to hit the shelves before the holiday season of the 2010. Though officially none of the phones running the WP7 operating system, has been announced yet; the rumor mills are buzzing with the news about a yet to be announced LG and HTC mobile phone that is supposed to feature the exciting Windows Phone 7 OS. The LG GW910 Panther, HTC Mozart and HTC Mondrian are supposed to carry the new Microsoft developed operating system. The seriously rich feature of the OS is going to create tough competition for other operating systems; such as iOS, Android and Symbian. The mobile phones equipped with the Windows Phone 7 will be competing with the popular Apple iPhone 4, launched this year.

Microsoft plans to create a great and predictable user experience for its latest operating system. Keeping this in mind, Microsoft has put strict conditions of not modifying the software to its mobile phone manufacturing partners. Even, the hardware on which the OS will be running is dictated by Microsoft. This is the absolute reverse marketing approach of the Google created Android OS. Android operating system is a freeware and is easily modifiable. The winning approach will soon be determined by the mobile market as the new OS is introduced. The key to success will be a superior product that gives exciting user experience. The Windows Phone 7 software was officially announced by Microsoft on 15th February, at the Mobile World Congress, held at Barcelona, Spain.
