The mobile phone manufacturer, Samsung is planning to add a new mobile phone set in its models of Galaxy series. The phone set is rumored to be named as the “Samsung Galaxy Q”. The SamsungHub reports that the mobile device will be available in the US market by the end of the year 2010. The new mobile is set to give a tough competition to the BlackBerry. The Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy 3 have already received rave reviews from the mobile enthusiasts, and the sales figures are good for both the hand set.

The new Galaxy Q from Samsung is supposed to feature greater technical advantages and exciting applications. The rumors are rife that the new device from Samsung will have an incredible 8 MP digital camera installed on the back of it. This is going to be one of the highest resolution cameras available on any mobile phone throughout the world. The camera is supported by a LED flash; this will help shooting in the dark. The 8 MP camera will also support High Definition video recording, as well. The device is a boon for the people inclined towards photography. There is a provision of 1.3 MP front face camera, this means the mobile will be able to conduct video calling.

The CPU of the Galaxy Q will host 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and is supposed to have an incredible 16 GB of internal memory. The phone will be able to accommodate an external memory of up to 32 GB. It is rumored to have dimensions of 120 x 68 x 9.25 mm and weighs only 108 gm. The 3 inch, super AMOLED screen on the hand set is supposed to feature multi touch input facilities. The QWERTY keyboard will be installed on the phone, and it will run on the latest version 2.2, Android operating system.
