LG T300 –A Cheap Touch Screen Mobile Phone is To Be Released


The Apple dominated the mobile phone market with its technically advanced iPhone 4 in the first part of the year 2010. It seems LG is planning to compete with the iPhone 4 with its cheaper mobile set that delivers considerable applications. The new LG T300 is rumored to get released in the third quarter of 2010. The speculations are rife that this hand set from LG will run on the acclaimed Android operating system. However, it is only a rumor and LG haven’t officially accepted or declined the feature.

The mobile will be compatible with the GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 2G networks. The dimensions of the mobile are 95.8 x 50.5 x 11.9 mm and weighs only 76 gm. This makes the mobile easy to carry and flaunt. The photos of the hand set available on the internet do not create a good impression about the design of the phone. The mobile fails to emulate the classy and stylish look of the LG GM 360 Viewty Snap. The looks of the phone are not interesting and are blunt.

The TFT touch screen on the hand set is good, and it supports 256000 colors. The Accelerometer sensor installed on the mobile, ensure auto rotation of the Graphical User Interface to suite the viewing angle of the user. The mobile has a microSD slot and supports up to 16 GB of external memory. The data transfer over GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB is supported by the mobile phone.

The 2 MP digital camera is mounted on the back of the mobile phone, and it is capable of producing photos at 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. The camera records video as well. The LG T300 is fitted with a standard rechargeable Li-ion 900 mAh battery. The speaker phone the mobile helps to attend call hands free and to share music with others.
