The BlackBerry Curve 9300 is Spotted Again


The glimpses of the yet to be announced BlackBerry Curve 9300 is becoming frequent now. A month earlier, the pictures of the mobile phone hand set leaked on the internet and now the video of the phone is released on the net. The hosting site is Vietnamese, and it confirms the earlier speculations, that the mobile does have 3.2 MP digital camera, QVGA screen and a track pad of optical nature. The 3G hand set seems to be operating on the BlackBerry operating system, version 5. The speculations are rife that the mobile will be available on the Vodafone stores across the United Kingdom.

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 will be a GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 2G network and HSDPA 1900/ 2100 3G network compatible. The mobile phone model is expected to be released on August 2010. The TFT type display screen is attached on the handset, and it is capable of supporting 65 thousand colors. The pixel resolution of 320 x 240 pixels is quite good for the 2.46 inch display screen. The handy mobile set features QWERTY keyboard and touch sensitive optical track pad. The microSD card slot is installed on the hand set, and it can support an external memory of up to 32 GB.

The looks of the phone are comparable to the BlackBerry Bold 9650 that launched in July, this year. The styling is the signature mark of the typical BlackBerry models. The mobile phone can transfer data over GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB systems. The camera on the back of the phone can produce pictures of 2048 x 1536 pixels, and it supports recording video in the QVGA mode. The standard Li-ion rechargeable battery is used on the mobile phone handset, but the rating of the battery is not available as of yet.
