Yet to Be Announced HTC Mondrian Mobile
The rumor about the latest mobile from HTC is doing the rounds among the smart phone enthusiasts. The leaked XML database file belonging to the MMS specs page of HTC confirms the speculation that the yet to be announced, HTC Mondrian and the HTC Mozart phone set will run on the eagerly awaited Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system. Rumors, also tell that the HTC Gold and the Mondrian are the same mobile phones. The mobile looks a lot like its predecessor HTC Bravo.
The smart phone is supposed to be compatible with GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900, 2G networks. The 3G network will be connected through the HSDPA 900/ 2100. The TFT capacitive touch screen on the mobile is going to be big and most probably will be of 4.3 inch. The pixel resolution on the touch screen is estimated to be 480 x 800 pixels. The standard features of accelerometer sensor for User Interface auto rotation and proximity sensors are going to be present on the smart phone. The mobile will have vibration, MP3 and WAV ring tone type alerts. A speaker phone for hand free conversation and sharing music with family and friend; will surely be installed on the mobile.
The HTC Mondrian hand set will support data transmission over the GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB system. Rumors pointed out, that the Mondrian will be equipped with a 5 MP digital camera that is capable of recording High Definition photos and videos. It does not look like that the phone will have a secondary camera for video conferencing though. The Central Processing Unit of the mobile is supposed to house, a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650A/B, 1.3 GHz processor. The Mondrian in all probabilities will be equipped with the standard, rechargeable Li-ion battery. The mobile set is not yet officially announced by HTC but speculation is rife that it will get released in the third quarter of 2010.
