Mobile manufactures hit back at Apple defense

Steve JobMobile manufacturing companies has reacted strongly to Steve Job’s attempt at easing the pressure off Apple. Apple’s Chief Executive attempted to take the bull by the horns when he pointed out in the sudden press conference called by Apple that their phone was not the only one with reception problems.

The Apple CEO made a poor public relations move when he choose to defame other mobile making brands like Nokia, Samsung, HTC, RIM by picking up their models and explaining how the smart phone have the same problem.

The mobile giants refused to sit quiet and hit back at Apple’s comments, stating that Apple were simply trying to deflect attention from their issues and rope others in.

Motorola went a step further to say that they could possibly demonstrate Apple’s reception problem in their labs and prove that the iPhone 4 suffered with reception problem that is far greater than any other phone’s problems.

Blackberry makers RIM was curt in their retort and said that the users of the Blackberry did not need to use a case – a taunt at Apple’s attempt to rectify the problem by promising every user a case that would prevent the antenna problem.

iPhone controversyMr Steve Job had presented the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Samsung’s Omnia II and HTC’s Droid Eris as so-called evidence to justify their claim and demonstrated the defect to the audience present at the press conference.

The Apple iPhone 4 sales have been sinking since it broke records last month and the shares of the company that dipped steeply is yet to see a climb; this being in spite of a rise in the general technology stocks.

Reuters recently conducted a poll that showed that fifty six per cent of the respondents were not likely to use the iPhone 4 owing to the controversy that has built up around it.
