The trend when on vacation oversees, is generally to disable the function so as to avoid getting huge bills. However in spite of doing this, many Apple users were met with shocking bills on their return.

Ideally after turning the network off, one should not be able to access the internet through the mobile’s network. However the option of using Wi-Fi to browse the internet should not cost the user anything.

A certain user who had toured USA had complained that on her return, she had found herself billed almost £1500, in spite of turning off her mobile internet network access.
