Apple iPhone Update- Supply Trouble Increases in The UK

At present, if you place an order of iPhone 4 from the online store of Apple, the shipment will take three weeks or even more. The demand of this latest handset has reached the sky-peak and the worse factor is that the company cannot supply sufficient products to the eager customers who are waiting with bated breath to get the hands-on this highly hyped product. There are reports from the London Regents Street Apple Store that the stock is over, they are not aware of the date when they can deliver the product. A staff of the store has said that the customers are required to register their email IDs and they will be informed once the device is available. No comments available from the media relations of Apple.

The date of launching the product in the UK market was June 24, but before the launch, the shipment dates have been fixed on July. Such a shortage of stock is completely uncalled for and the stores have no clue when they can store the product and deliver the shipments. The impact of this huge problem of supply has also affected the network providers that were looking forward to offer the handset with latest deals and contracts. Now the date of launch is over and still the companies are not being able to stock the device. Apple has apologized to the customers and operators and said that the shortage of supply is the result of unexpected order volumes. On the first day, when pre-ordering was open, 600,000 units were ordered.

The trouble seems to be rising as there is no official announcement from Apple regarding when the availability of stocks for the shipment.
