BlackBerry Bold 9650 Comes with GSM/CDMA Dual Mode

RIM has made an announcement of BlackBerry Bold 9650 officially. 9650 Bold comes with the latest QWERTY keyboard and optical track pad, which carry forward the legacy of the traditional BlackBerry phones, unlike the latest ones like Pearl 3G 9100 and Pearl 3G 9105. The major key feature of the 9650 Bold is the combination of dual mode that supports both GSM and CDMA networks. With CDMA/EVDO Rev.A  along with the quad band GSM and HSDPA 2100, it will be a boon for international roaming.

The mobile phone looks quite attractive. It has a contemporary feel to it, but the traditional BlackBerry impact can be definitely felt. The display size of the screen is 2.44 inches, and it is a TFT screen with 480 x 360 pixels resolution and 65,000 colours.

With the dimension of 112 x 62 x 14 mm and 136 grams weight, BlackBerry Bold 9650 is quite handy and easy to carry. The touch sensitive optical track pad maintains smooth navigation features. The CDMA customers will get an excellent choice of powerful 3G functionalities. It will support high speed 3G network and We If connectivity all around the world.

BlackBerry Bold 9650 will be loaded with attractive multimedia features. The device brings in a 3.15 mega pixel camera with excellent features such as LED flash, auto focus, and image stabilization. The integrated music player of the mobile phone can play MP3, WMA, and eAAC+ while the video playback can play MP4, H.263, and WMV.

Other exciting features of Bold 9650 include A GPS support, BlackBerry maps, microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 32 GB,  3.5 mm audio jack, etc.
