Samsung S5620 Monte vs HTC Legend
The market of the touch screen mobile phones is flooded with the numerous models. Couple of months back, two touch screen handsets was released by the major players in the business- Samsung and HTC. The devices we are talking about are Samsung S5620 Monte and HTC Legend. Both S5620 Monte and Legend are immensely attractive mobile phones with some excellent display features. Monte is inclusive of 3.0 inches TFT capacitive touch screen that boasts 256,000 colours and a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. On the other hand, the display of Legend is 3.2 inches (0.2 inches bigger than Monte) and it features 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 million colours. The display features HTC legend excels than that of Monte as the former includes AMOLED capacitive touch screen in comparison to the TFT variety of the later. However, there are certain common features of the display like the accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate.
Samsung Monte is handier in comparison to the Legend by HTC. The device measures 108.8 x 53.7 x 12.4 mm and weighs 92 grams only; while the Legend includes a dimension of 112 x 56.3 x 11.5 mm and 126 grams of weight.
The camera features of HTC Legend are attractive as it boasts a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. Monte’s camera is of 3.15 pixels, but it includes smile detection.
HTC Legend is an Android OS v2.1 run device and hence its features triumph over the specifications of Monte. However, Monte is favorable to those who are looking out for more affordable alternatives.
