iPhone 4G – Apple’s next – Is it real?

With Apple iPhone 3GS still making waves in the market, the company’s next in the world of mobile telephony is creating a lot of buzz. Off late, the pics of Apple iPhone 4G were released over the internet, and it have grabbed the eyeballs in a big way. Though it is touted as a rumor, but according to some sources, the phone might be officially announced in June 2010. The name of this concept phone is not certain as yet as it might be called Apple iPhone HD.

The features that Apple iPhone 4G is expected to be loaded with were never used before in any handset by the company. According to some sections, the mobile phone will include a front facing camera for video chatting, however the regular back camera might appear with a new avatar of noticeably superior lens, probably larger than the iPhone 3GS. The camera feature of the mobile phone is expected to be rich with a 5 mega pixel camera that combines the features like LED flash, auto focus, touch focus and geo tagging.
In place of the standard sim, the phone will make use of micro-sim, the same technology which is used in the iPad. The display features are also expected to be more improved and attractive. The type of display as per the leaked information is a TFT capacitive touch screen that boasts 640 x 960 pixels of resolution and 16 million colours. The display size is 3.5 inches and some of the key highlights of the display include scratch resistant surface, accelerometer sensor for auto turn off and proximity sensor for auto rotate.
What is revealed in the pictures may not be the final outcome as the company may tweak the design and the final packaging of the handset before it makes the official appearance.
