LG KE970 Shine – A stunning phone

The LG KE970 is rather a fashionable extension of LG Chocolate. As I find, the phone is brilliantly named as ‘Shine’ for its dazzling shiny coating on LCD display to make the set one for the current generation. One may use it as a mirror when not in use, which automatically fades out when the phone is turned on; an intriguing smartness for many. At a glance, I feel the set to be like a mirror with chick looks and feel of luxury. In the daytime, bright glare on the screen is a sure cause of irritation.

The set houses more responsive buttons for navigation under the screen. But, I feel a bit reserved for the efficacy since it is the same roller type used on touch-sensitive chocolate. The company could have thought of something different instead of repeating the type, of course with improved sensitivity, which was the source of resentment in Chocolate. Yes, the slimness makes me scared as I hardly feel its presence; I feel for having dropped it out of the pocket unknowingly.

Though LG KE970 Shine has not followed enhancing its pixel abilities, the snapping merits at 2 mega-pixels camera with Schneider Kreuzmach lens is as good as I expected it to be. Only, I find disappointment with no auto focus facility, a feature much craved for by all. However, the snapping department goes strong for the ability to take snaps in photography in the dark with support of LED light. Another consolation comes from the feature of a video camera. The good news continues with strongly supported MP3 player, which can handle MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC++ formats. It charms me being a music lover that I can expand the memory up to 2GB using MicroSD memory card and store more of my favourites. I like the capable loud and clear sparker.

With big 2.2 inch TFT screen, the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels could have been increased for better graphics than the ones users are familiar with. The screen is capable of 262k colours definitions. Fast connectivity of LG KE970 Shine is based on EDGE for multimedia enjoyment through committed media buttons. All in all, I am left with admiration for the captivating LG KE970 Shine for its stunning magnificence. The set speaks of a style of its own in the shiny steel finish making me proud to have the power of great music and connectivity.
