HTC Magic users in Taiwan gets Sense UI, the world is waiting

In a recent press release in Taiwan, HTC made announcement of the availability of Sense user interface for the HTC magic mobile phone. In fact, the company went further by declaring that HTC Hero’s ‘Sense’ UI will be introduced to the Magic handsets. Though HTC revealed that the official website of the company will be featuring the update in the near future, but the rest of the world is still not sure about it. The impact of HTC Hero Android phone with Sense UI was excellent and it is to be seen when the company decides to bring it on Magic. Most of the Magic owners who have already purchased the handset are asking for the update, but so far HTC has not been able to provide them with the availability of Sense UI.

In Taiwan, the update is enjoyed by the subscribers of Chunghwa Telecom and it is also said that the update will be enjoyed only by users of certain carriers. However, there is an indication of introducing the update for the Magic users, but the consumers having certain Google licensing requirements and carrier contracts, will be barred from enjoying the update. If you are using HTC Magic and want to get Sense UI in your handset, then you have to first check out whether your carrier permits such update on the handset or there is any kind of restriction. One of the surprising facts is that in Brazil, HTC Magic is being made available with Sense UI.

Sense UI can be useful because having the feature on your handset you can apply varied widgets to different profiles and in that way Magic will get much closure to that of ‘Hero’ experience. We have to wait and watch for the further announcements from HTC regarding the availability of Sense UI in Magic.
