Nokia 6700 Classic – Great looks great substance

Nokia 6700 Classic has been an instant hit ever since its launch. This is a seriously stylish handset with loads of substance to cheer for. The sleek and slim appearance of the phone is very popular with its users. Nokia 6700 have a steady market and its enthusiasts make it still a popular handset.

The mobile phone might not be that much sophisticated to feature huge touch screen or QWERTY keyboard, but it is definitely hard to beat Nokia 6700 Classic when it comes to the basic features. It would be wrong if we say that this mobile phone is not high on its features. The key highlights of the phone are definitely attractive. It is supportive to quad band GSM, GPRS and EDGE. Tri band 3G with 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA is also supported in the device. The camera of the phone is able to take 5 mega pixel shots with LED flash and auto focus. Video recording is done with VGA recorder at 15fps. The memory option of the phone is excellent as it can be expanded up to 16 GB by using microSD card slot. In addition to that, Nokia 6700 Classic is built with 6th edition S40 user interface, built-in accelerometer sensor and Built-in GPS receiver. The slim and sharp design of the phone is well complimented by 2.2″ 16M million colour QVGA display, which is perfectly clear even at direct sunlight.

However, there are certain demerits of Nokia 6700 Classic. The display is quite small while the image gallery looks dated. Memory slot under the back cover makes it quite hard to use. S40 interface is back dated and Nokia needs to work on it. Moreover, there is no video calling and no 3.5 audio jack. Comparing the merits with demerits, it seems that that the advantages of the phone puts down the limitations as people continue to purchase the device.

Nokia 6700 Classic is certainly a great looking handset with some great features. It is a perfect handset for the Nokia enthusiasts and those who want best of features in one single handset.
