Nokia E63 – Nokia E63 Review
Nokia E63 Review
The Nokia E63 could be mistaken for a blackberry with its QWERTY keyboard on the front as apposed to a slide out one that we usually expect from Nokia. The E63 is available in 2 colours, ultramarine blue or ruby red. There are dedicated one touch buttons that allow the user to access contacts, calendar or email. If you want to scroll down the screen quickly, maybe a long email then make use of the Navi key. The E63 is a very intuitive phone and has several features to help you write emails quickly, like auto-correction and auto-completion, much like your desktop PC would. It could be considered to have artifical intelligence as it will learn, for example, I write the word ‘nokia’ a fair bit but its not in the computers dictionary, but though frequent use it will get included and stop highlighting that word. At 13mm thin this is very impressive for a blackberry type smartphone. For further details on this nokia why not have a read of our detailed nokia e63 review.
The Internet is well supported by the E63 with full XHTML, HTTP and WAP 2.0 support. The nokia web browser also supports JavaScript and includes mini maps. You should not have any issues using the E63 abroad as the handset is quad-band. With Micro USB and Bluetooth support connecting to other compatible devices will be easy. There are some great applications onboard the Nokia E63 which are mainly aimed at business users. QuickOffice which includes software to edit text docs, spreadsheets and presentation files. You can also view PDF files and use nokia maps. However I would of liked to see Google maps and a zip manager included. Overall this is a decent smartphone and it is definitely worth checking out the E63 in more detail.
