Just been crawling the internet to find out when the Nokia n97 will get released and apparently its July this year. We have been banging on about this phone for the last 6 months and I am getting a little tired of waiting, but suppose another couple of months won’t hurt. really hoping its as good as it looks, i did have the Nokia n95 but skipped the Nokia N96 as I was intrigued by the t-mobile G1. This is a brilliant phone but I do miss the Sat Nav from my Nokia N95. My thoughts are now with the Nokia N97 which has to be a must. With touch screen, decent camera and internet in your pocket. The best thing for me about the G1 was the QWERTY keyboard, with the Nokia N97 I get the best of both world as this has it too. Only thing I would criticize is I would have like to see it running the Android software. Nokia always seem to be one step behind all the other manufacturers in embracing new technology. I personally think they like to let others test the water and dip there toes in before they will embrace it. But we all know anything by Google will be massive so this is one technology I believe they should have jumped on. HTC did with the G1 and haven’t looked back since, it’s really brought them to the front of the mobile phone industry and increased there market share. Keep an eye out for Nokia N97 deals around July, 2009.
