LG Arena Review

The LG Arena features a 3 inch touch screen using 262k colours to ensure the display is bright and clear. What is really special is the user interface on the LG Arena, it is a rotating 3D cube with menus on the sides of the cube, you can make your menu selections by touching the sides of the cube via the touch screen.   This new type of interface is known as S Class 3 D interface and has been invented by the mobile industry and sued by all the retailers, LG beat the rest to it. The built-in 5 MP camera features auto-focus and a flash but apart from that it is nothing out of the ordinary. There is another features called ‘reel scrolling’, imagine a fruit machine reels spinning and each fruit is a different menu.  It is very hard to visualize and explain how great this new menu is without seeing so watch LG official LG arena video below which shows the new S Class 3D interface in action.

The LG Arena was released on the 13th March and already there are some great LG Arena deals available.  Dialaphone are giving it away free from as low as 25 pounds a month but this is on a 24 month contract, if you want it on an 18 month contract you will have to pay 30 pounds a month, but the handset is still free.

    Just got the LG arena and love it, one of the best phones out at the moment. LG really are starting to dominate the mobile phone industry and making the like of nokia up there game.

    The 3D cube interface exceeded my expectation. For sure, it looks good but wasn’t sure how well it would work. I can confirm it works really well and is very responsive.
