There is a lot of hype in the air with the anticipation of the Nokia N97 touchscreen getting released soon. Although a price has not been set for the Nokia N97 there are rumours flying around it could be around the £700 mark which is ridiculous. Like we said, these are rumours and are dubious, we expect the nokia N97 to be relatively affordable when it gets released in late June.

These rumours were started by a mobile phone retailer who went ahead and displayed the nokia n97 on there site even though nokia has not confirmed how much the handset will cost. So if you see the nokia n97 for sale we would advise that you don’t pre order it and wait to see how much nokia will be selling it for. Nokia did rely to these rumours by saying the price was “outrageous”. As the release dates gets soon we expect nokia to confirm exactly how much the n97 will cost. Regardless of the cost, we are expecting the majority of mobile phone retailers to offer the nokia n97 free on contract, although to start with the contracts will probably be 18 months. Don’t expect a free gift either as the retailers will be paying out a lot for the handset which they are giving to you free. We will bring you more information on the nokia N97 as we it.

  • Id expect to pay around the 35/40 pound mark per month on a contract. The longer the contract you take the cheaper your monthly bills will be.
