Apple called a press conference yesterday to announced the iPhone 3.0 operating system. The new 3.0 OS contain over 100 new features allowing the iPhone to offer so much more. On the original iPhone OS copy and pasting was not available, this has now been sorted but ideally should have been there in the first place. The new OS will also now automatically log you in when a WI-FI connection is available. You will also be able to forward multimedia messages and guess what, delete them as well, oh, we are so grateful apple! The Bluetooth capabilities have been improved and there is a new homepage for the handset.

As well as improving the current apple iPhone OS they have also added many new applications. You can now view your emails and text messages in landscape view and record audio notes and reminders. Youtube® is now fully supported by the iPhone and a ‘shake to shuffle’ features has been included. The sarfari browser which comes pre-installed on the iPhone has forms auto-fill and parental control functions added.

Apple are aiming to have the new iPhone 3.0 operating system ready for the summer 2009 and it will be free to all iPhone 3G users with a small cost to offer users. This makes no sense to us, it should be free for everybody as apple did not deliver in the first place.
