The Nokia N97 is an attractively designed mobile phone. Nokia have included a QWERTY keypad, sliding out in a horizontal screen mode. Dimensions for the N97 are 15.9mm x 55.3mm x 117.2mm with the weight being 150g, not bad considering all the technology and features in this handset. There is a great quality built-in 5 mega-pixel camera to capture all those special moments, with is a number of great features including, Duel LED Flash, Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, Auto focus and dedicated camera key. Nokia have included a video camera in the N97, letting the user record videos using VGA and MPEG3 formats with playback in QCIF, MPEG4 and H264 formats. Nokia have also added a number of features allowing great quality footage. Internet connection is fast and easy on the Nokia N97, technologies include WAP, XHTML and HTML web browsers. Other fantastic technologies included in this great mobile phone include EDGE, 3G HSDPA and WLAN Wi-Fi with Micro USB, Bluetooth with A2DP connectivity and 3.5mm headphone socket. The N97 is easy to use abroad with Quad-band networks covering 1900/1800/900/850 and WCDMA 2100/1900/900. For the users entertainment the N97 has a built-in music player and features and RDS FM radio with a number of other features to keep the user entertained. Users can customise there phone with one of the built in ring tones or use one of there own downloaded songs.

Staying in touch with friends and family is easy with Nokia messaging service. These include, SMS MMS, Instant messaging and email with push email (SMTP/POP3/IMAP) and attachments. There is also Voice commands , voice dialling and conference call to make life a little easier. To find your way around town Nokia have added GPS Navigation with A GPS receiver and comes with OS Symbian Operating system with S60 5th edition software.
