Sony Ericsson have announced the latest addition to there Walkman range, the Sony Ericsson W508. The

W508 Walkman features exchangeable outer casings, the first being a brushed steel colour or if you are feeling more adventurous you could opt for the multi coloured casing.

The W508 is targeting consumers who love there music with external and dedicated music keys and gesture controls for controlling the music player and alarm. Just by moving the palm of your hand over the front of the handset you can mute the music or turn of the alarm, not to sure it’s a good idea being able to turn of the alarm so easily! There is a 3.2 megapixel camera on board plus Bluetooth is supported so you can listen to your music via your wireless headset. 3G is supported by the W508 so you should be able to access your favourite websites and update your Facebook profile. Included in the box is a 1 GB memory card.

The SE W508 supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. The W508 will be available in Q2, 2009. You will be able to get hold of the Sony Ericsson W508 on contract around Q2, 2009.
